What is 1:1 Thyroid Nutrition Coaching?
Nutritional Therapy is a collaborative process between coach and client, during which you will be supported to gain clarity and understanding of your issue and/or goal, and to identify and take actions that are aligned to your values, in pursuit of your fullest wellbeing potential.
It includes nutrition, supplement, lifestyle and emotional support.
My Approach
My approach is thyroid- and mineral-focused, with the concept that when thyroid hormones are working optimally, so does your metabolism, and this affects every cell in your body positively. Likewise, when minerals are in balance, the enzymatic activity that affects biological processes can work more efficiently.
Instead of a conventional approach focused on extensive lab testing with little answers, supplement-heavy protocols, restrictive eating, calorie restriction or increased exercise, my approach is to support your body's natural ability to heal and improve thyroid, mineral and metabolic function.
This is intended to be a natural process that avoids extreme cleanses and detoxes in favour of a gentler, more sustainable solution. We assess thyroid function holistically according to your symptoms, how you feel, your basal metabolic rate and, where appropriate, functional lab tests.
This is not medical treatment and it is not bio-hacking; it is bio-harmony.
Professional Membership
I am a member of The Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP), one of the UK's largest associations for naturopaths, nutritional therapists, herbalists and acupuncturists. The ANP requires practitioners to complete accredited training, abide by a code of ethics and engage in continuing professional development.
Commitment to Yourself
To get the most out of your sessions, you will want to bring an open mind, honesty and a willingness to commit fully to yourself.
You agree to treat your 1:1 thyroid nutrition coaching sessions as a top priority over other activities and to be on time for scheduled calls.
Any agreed growthwork is for you, not for my approval or the approval of anyone else. Please show up for sessions even if you have not completed the protocol updates you intended to.
By exploring any avoidance and/or procrastination, you can move back into creation, which may serve you long after coaching is over. You are encouraged to take notes and you may benefit from journalling between calls.
Confidentiality
Whatever you say to me will be held in strict confidence.
The only time it may be necessary to break that confidentiality is if I am legally required to do so, or if I believe that you or another person is at risk of harm.
Cooling-Off Period, Cancellation & Early Termination
Under consumer law, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. If you choose to cancel within this period and coaching has not yet commenced, you will receive a full refund.
If you request that coaching begins during the 14-day cooling-off period, you acknowledge that you will be charged for any services already provided should you choose to cancel within that period, in accordance with applicable consumer law.
After the initial 14-day cooling-off period, or after the consultation and personalised plan has been written up and sent, cancellation of the programme is not automatically available simply because a client has changed their mind, no longer wishes to continue, has found another practitioner or has decided to pursue a different approach.
Where a client wishes to stop coaching, they should contact me so that we can discuss the circumstances and agree the most appropriate way to conclude the programme.
I will always aim to deal with requests fairly and reasonably and will consider exceptional circumstances on an individual basis.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- Continuing the programme with an agreed adjustment to the coaching plan where appropriate.
- Pausing the programme in cases of significant and unexpected circumstances, such as bereavement, serious illness, hospitalisation or a significant traumatic event.
- Agreeing an early termination, with any refund or outstanding balance calculated in accordance with these Cancellation & Early Termination terms.
If an early termination is agreed after the 14-day cooling-off period, the initial programme-development element of £1,500 will be retained to reflect the consultation, assessment, research, analysis, programme design and written recommendations already provided.
The remaining value relating to ongoing coaching will be calculated on a pro-rata basis according to the coaching sessions already delivered.
For example, for a £3,500 three-month programme with 6 coaching sessions and 6 catch-up calls:
- £1,500 relates to the initial professional work and initial consultation.
- £2,000, or more for a longer programme, relates to the ongoing coaching sessions and support and is refundable on a pro-rata basis where early termination is agreed.
For clients paying by instalments, the same principle applies: payment is due for services already provided up to the termination date, and no payment will be required for future coaching that will no longer be provided.
Any refund will be calculated based on the services actually delivered and the terms above, subject to applicable consumer law. Each month of coaching will be rounded to an appropriate pro-rata amount depending on the level of coaching selected, while the initial professional-work element remains due where the cooling-off period has passed and the initial professional work has been provided.

Client Agreement & Release
For clarity, throughout this Client Agreement & Release section, “I”, “me” and “my” refer to the client completing and signing this onboarding form.
- I confirm that I undertake this coaching of my own free will and that I always take full responsibility for my own physical and psychological wellbeing.
- I confirm that I understand that this is a 100% natural support programme intended to work alongside my medical treatment and not as an alternative to my medical treatment, where I am receiving medical treatment.
- I confirm that my medical treatment is the responsibility of my doctor, not my nutritionist. Although the topic of medicines may arise, only my doctor or other appropriately qualified prescriber can make changes to my treatment.
- I understand that functional lab tests are used for nutritional education and functional assessment and are not intended to diagnose, cure or treat disease or replace medical care.
- I confirm that, to the best of my knowledge, I am fit to participate in this coaching.
- I understand that nutrition coaching is intended to support energy, reduce stress and optimise mind, body and spirit, but individual results cannot be guaranteed.
- I understand that if I am currently undergoing treatment from a doctor, psychiatrist or psychologist which may affect my coaching experience, it is my responsibility to inform those persons and obtain appropriate advice regarding my participation.
- I understand that external factors such as stress, work, family, relationships, food poisoning, mould, medications and other factors can affect my progress. I will share relevant information with my nutritionist for guidance and support.
- I acknowledge that any recording or written material used as part of the coaching remains the sole and exclusive property of the company, including Intellectual Property Rights, and may not be used, copied or distributed by me without prior permission.
What I Do
I provide nutritional therapy and lifestyle education designed to:
- Support the body's natural thyroid function through balanced nutrition, mineral repletion and nourishment of key systems such as the liver, gut and adrenal/stress-response systems.
- Optimise the body's ability to convert thyroid hormone, both synthetic (medication-based) and naturally produced (endogenous), by supporting key sites of conversion in the liver and digestive system.
- Reduce nutritional stressors, environmental burden and other factors that may inhibit healthy thyroid activity.
- Strengthen foundational systems that affect energy, mood and resilience.
- Offer a whole-person approach that addresses physiology as well as emotional and energetic wellbeing.
My work integrates evidence-informed nutritional science, functional principles and emotional-health practices to help support balance and vitality from the inside out.
What I Do Not Do
I am not a medical doctor and I do not offer medical diagnosis, treatment or prescription.
Specifically:
- I do not diagnose or treat thyroid disease or any medical condition.
- Lab testing, whether blood, HTMA or other testing, is not intended to diagnose, cure or treat disease and is not intended to replace medical care.
- I do not prescribe, adjust or advise on medication dosage, including thyroid medication or hormone replacement.
- I do not replace the advice, treatment or care of your GP, endocrinologist or any licensed medical professional.
- I do not claim to cure, prevent or medically manage disease.
- Where I discuss laboratory information, I do so for nutritional education and functional interpretation rather than as a medical diagnosis.
My role is complementary: to work alongside your medical care, not in place of it. I encourage all clients to remain under the supervision of their GP or specialist and to discuss medical concerns, medication changes or new symptoms with them directly.
Client Acceptance & Final Agreement
In the statement below, “I” refers to the client.
I agree that I have carefully read and completely understood the above terms, and that my signature on this onboarding form, together with any fees paid, constitutes my agreement to these Terms & Conditions, subject to my statutory rights.
