About Me
I built the thyroid support I wish I had been given.
I am a Certified Nutritional Therapist,
DipNT,
ANP,
and the creator of the
Signature Pro-Thyroid Nutrition Protocol™.
But my interest in thyroid health
did not begin with a qualification.
It began with knowing what it feels like
to have symptoms that affect
your energy,
digestion,
mood,
confidence
and day-to-day life.
Helping women understand the wider picture behind persistent thyroid symptoms.
Why Thyroid Health Became Personal
I know what it feels like when your body stops feeling like yours.
My own experience included low-thyroid symptoms, persistent bloating and depression. It changed the way I thought about health.
I became increasingly interested in the physiology behind thyroid function, nutrition, minerals, digestion, metabolism and the way stress and emotional health can influence the wider picture.
What if the strategy simply is not addressing what your body needs first?
That question became central to the way I now work. Instead of asking women to push harder, restrict more or add another supplement, I want to understand what the body may be asking for.
Sometimes that means looking more closely at thyroid markers. Sometimes the more useful clue is nutrition, iron, mineral status, energy availability, digestion, liver health, hormonal context, inflammation, recovery or the nervous system.
The Pro-Thyroid Approach
Your thyroid is not working in isolation. Why treat it like it is?
My work considers thyroid function as part of a wider physiological system. Testing matters. But so do the conditions in which thyroid hormones are produced, converted and used.
Look beyond one marker.
TSH can be an important starting point, but where appropriate I consider the wider thyroid picture, including symptoms, Free T4, Free T3, antibodies and relevant nutritional context.
Nourish before you restrict.
More restriction is not automatically the answer to stubborn weight, low energy or thyroid symptoms. Nutrition needs to support metabolic function, adequate energy and the nutrient demands of the wider thyroid system.
Build foundations before chasing fixes.
Digestion, liver function, nutrient status, inflammation, hormonal context and recovery may all influence the wider picture. The goal is to identify what deserves priority, rather than trying to address everything at once.
Use supplements with a reason.
I am not interested in building an ever-growing supplement cupboard. Where supplements are appropriate, they should support a clear purpose within the wider strategy.
Support the person, not just the laboratory report.
Energy, sleep, movement, recovery, emotional health and nervous-system regulation influence how sustainable a nutrition strategy actually becomes. Health has to work in your real life.
What I Believe
You may not need to try harder. You may need a better strategy.
Women with persistent thyroid symptoms are often already trying very hard. They have cut foods out, counted calories, exercised more, bought supplements, followed protocols and tried to be more disciplined.
So I do not believe the answer is automatically more restriction, more willpower or more things to manage.
The work is to understand which pieces of the picture are actually relevant to you, what deserves attention now and what can wait.
Beyond The Consultation
Health should give you more life to live.
The outcome I care about is not simply having a more organised supplement routine. It is having more energy for mornings, work, movement, food, relationships, travel and the parts of life that make you feel like yourself.

Hi, I’m Joel. certified Nutritional Therapist, DipNt, ANP
Ten years ago I suffered with low thyroid, bloating & depression. Doctors pushed prescriptions, none made me feel myself again. Nobody told me my thyroid was related!
I dove headfirst into works of visionaries like Dr. Weston Price, Ray Peat, Dr. Natasha McBride, Morley Robbins & more, uncovering the truth about thyroid, mineral balance, gut health & nutrition. I paired that with the mind-body insights discovering how stress & unresolved emotions were fueling my symptoms.
I’ve channeled that journey into qualifying as a nutritionist & creating a transformative Pro-Thyroid Protocol, that helped me reclaim my energy & my life. I have helped 100’s of women restore their thyroid to heal their hormones & metabolism to finally feel at home in their bodies.
When not working with clients, find me exploring farmers markets with my wife and daughter, practicing martial arts, playing the flute or cooking up something seasonal.
