My role as thyroid focused nutritionist & thyroid researcher, is to support your body, mind, and spirit through personalized nutritional and lifestyle guidance. My approach focuses on the underlying nutritional, metabolic, and environmental factors that influence thyroid function and overall vitality.
What I Do
I provide nutritional therapy and lifestyle education designed to:
- Support the body’s natural thyroid function through balanced nutrition, mineral repletion, and nourishment of key systems such as the liver, gut, and adrenals.
- Optimise the body’s ability to convert thyroid hormone, both synthetic (medication-based) and naturally produced (endogenous), by supporting the key sites of conversion in the liver and digestive system.
- Reduce nutritional stressors, environmental burden, and other factors that may inhibit healthy thyroid activity.
- Strengthen foundational systems that affect energy, mood, and resilience.
- Offer a whole-person approach that addresses not only physiology, but also emotional and energetic wellbeing.
My work integrates evidence-informed nutritional science, functional principles, and emotional health practices to help you restore balance and vitality from the inside out.
What I Don’t Do
I am not a medical doctor and I do not offer medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescription.
Specifically:
- I do not diagnose or treat thyroid disease or any medical condition.
- I do not prescribe, adjust, or advise on medication dosage, including thyroid medication or hormone replacement.
- I do not replace the advice, treatment, or care of your GP, endocrinologist, or any licensed medical professional.
- I do not claim to cure, prevent, or medically manage disease.
- I do not use lab work medically, rather to showcase extra markers, the optimal ranges and meanings as per thyroid researchers and notable drs as education
My role is complementary, to work alongside your medical care, not in place of it. I encourage all clients to remain under the supervision of their GP or specialist and to discuss any medical concerns, medication changes, or new symptoms with them directly.
Use of Research and Alternative Perspectives
In my work, I draw from both emerging nutritional science and traditional research perspectives, including analyses of metabolic and thyroid health from periods when population health markers differed from today. These viewpoints offer an alternative, holistic interpretation of how the body functions compared to current standard reference ranges, which are often based on modern cohorts whose health patterns may not reflect optimal physiology. My use of this research is educational in nature and intended to provide context for understanding nutrition, thyroid physiology, and wellbeing. These perspectives are not a replacement for medical metrics, diagnosis, or clinical decision-making, and clients should continue to follow established medical guidelines and consult their healthcare provider regarding any symptoms, testing, or treatment.
