What is the Root Cause Protocol?

The Root Cause Protocol (RCP), a game-changer in the world of Chronic fatigue developed by Morley Robbins. Not just another diet or wellness fad; it’s a revolutionary approach that tackles mineral imbalances head-on. Robbins created this integrative dietary method after years of dissecting medical literature and conversing with researchers. The goal? To address the mineral dysregulation that causes dysfunction within our bodies and those frustrating fatigue symptoms. Mineral dysregulation stems primarily from stress—yes, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Stress can disrupt hormone levels and mess with how minerals are regulated in the body. For example, elevated cortisol can throw off potassium regulation. Our modern diets don’t help either. Poor soil quality means less copper in our vegetables. Overuse of sunscreen and sunglasses can inhibit vitamin D and retinol (vitamin A) absorption. Even a seemingly healthy vegan or vegetarian diet can miss key nutrients like retinol, usually found in animal products.

From there, we utilize blood tests and Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) to establish a baseline and identify any mineral imbalances.

Price Foundation’s recommendations, emphasizing traditional diets rich in vital nutrients. Of course, each person’s needs vary, some thrive on more meat, others on more vegetables. Results vary, of course. Some feel the benefits of Phase One almost immediately with the reintroduction of electrolytes & minerals. And it’s important not to add more stress to the body in the process.

There are wonderful functional nutritionists out there but unfortunately for some the paradigm is the same of treating symptoms. prescription are changed for supplements and herbal remedies. The RCP will be the foundation in many regards but everybody is different.Thought experiment, if you have a toxic liver, gut dysbiosis, weak kidneys, blocked lymph and more whilst you should feel relief if properly implemented, we also need to target certain areas. The orthodox RCP view is that you just stick to the RCP but in some cases targeted work and implementation of other modalities can help. If your toilet is blocked you can pump down the best unblocking liquids but sometimes its too blocked and sometimes you have to get your elbows dirty, pulling out what you can to get to a better balance to effectively unblock the entire system.
